自然辩证法课程对于培养大学生的科学精神理应发挥重要的作用。在培养学生求真务实精神方面,能够使学生避免与科技时代的脱节,避免对本土环境的忽视,避免错误理解科学技术,努力消除科学文化与人文文化的隔阂。在培养学生开拓创新精神方面,能够引导学生由博学转向慎思,由专学转向通学,重视批判性写作训练,培养学生的科学批判精神,使学生掌握科学的批判方法。同时要结合科普弘扬科学精神,做科学家的辅助者,做科技知识的传播者,做高新技术的追随者,做封建迷信的反对者。
