高校教师教学发展需要一定的机构来实施和执行。美国高校教师教学发展校内机构主要是教师教学发展中心和教师发展委员会,教师教学发展中心以专职人员为主、专兼结合,教师发展委员会均系兼职人员。其基本职责是营造卓越教学文化,通过向教师个体提供咨询促进其教学发展、推进教学改革,并开展了全面、有针对性的教师教学发展工作。美国高校教师教学发展机构建设的经验可资借鉴。
